- Hi,
-
- I am trying to talk to a Courier modem hooked to a Sun (4.1.3) using cu
- or tip. I know the modem works because we dial into it regularly, and I
- know I once talked to it from the Sun end because I set it up!
- Unfortunately I simply can't remember how to get it to respond.
-
- I have an entry in /etc/uucp/Devices which looks like:
-
- Direct cua0 - 9600 direct
-
- I have cua0 created with
-
- mknod cua0 c 12 128
-
- and all the ttytab and gettytab settings are as you would expect. Using
- cu (or tip) results in a "Connected" message then the thing simply hangs.
-
- Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
-
- Thanks a lot.
-
- Gordon
